WHAT OUR CLIENT WANTED.
Make New Friends wanted a site to help women make new friends in the areas they live in. The site needed to be able to handle recurring membership payments, allow members to create profiles and groups and interact with other members. It was also important that members could search by location and the site needed an event management system.
WHAT WE PROVIDED
In WordPress we built a mobile responsive website with a community-oriented theme. This allowed us to integrate key parts of the site with Google Maps so members could search by location. We installed Buddypress on the site to allow the creation of interactive profiles and groups and customized a membership plugin to allow all signups to be handled swiftly and automated emails to be sent out upon joining.
